I absolutely l o v e what I do!
Just about everything associated with preparing food for the table is a joy for me.
Time spent looking through the lens of my camera or playing with the food,
watching where and how the light falls, thrills me.
Putting a meal on the table for those I love fills me.
I count myself as one most fortunate.

In Japanese there is a short pithy phrase, “kochira koso”, which says a lot and applies perfectly here. It means, although you are saying pleasing things about me, in actuality I am the one who should be praising you. I dare say I speak for all your readers when I say how grateful we are that you are investing so much time and energy in producing these beautiful pages filled with your words of wisdom, inspiring recipes, and wonderful images. Thank you so much for what you are giving of yourself to all of us.
